After a two-year hiatus, the world’s largest industrial exhibition and the world’s most important industry business event, Hannover Messe, has resumed with a business delegation organised by HKIK at the end of May. Representatives of companies from Heves and Borsod counties joined the programme as suppliers and business partners of the Mátra power plant in the framework of the LIFE-IP North-HU-Trans project’s corporate mentoring programme.
The aim of the visit was to explore opportunities in foreign markets, to broaden external relations and to learn about the latest sustainable technologies. The 22 participants also discussed technological cooperation and supplier opportunities.
This year, the Hannover Messe exhibition also included the CEBIT IT exhibition, so there were a large number of exhibitors from this field. IT solutions supporting various industries, Industry 4.0 systems, automation and robotisation were even more prominent this year. Exhibitors offered companies tools and ready-made solutions for the increasingly fierce global competition and the growing shortage of raw materials and labour.
This year’s focus area of the exhibition: SUSTAINABILITY.
“HANNOVER MESSE promotes sustainable economic growth, because without it, climate goals are too expensive and therefore unattainable. Moreover, sustainability generates further growth and new business opportunities. How?Digitalisation and automation save energy and resources while increasing productivity. The end result: a much smaller carbon footprint.”
